I have reached my point as a mom where I officially feel outdone at times by my beautiful, adorable, sweet, crazy toddler. I have created my official term, Toddler Insanity Syndrome.....and here are my opinions on the signs that you are experiancing TIS:
-You carrying lollipops or treats in your purse so you can actually make it through a store without going at warp speed.
-You find yourself apologizing in public for meltdowns or tantrums
-You invest in a portable DVD player despite all the goody good moms who don't believe in any television...blah blah-It gives you a moment to eat dinner while out and it gives you moments of peace during a bad car ride
-When you get into Target or a store you grab something for them to hold to keep happy, however when you checkout you may get a trantrum from taking it away cause you don't want to buy it. So you end up spending $1-$5 on some stupid trinket to add to your collection of items they will probably never play with again.
-Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner can be hit or miss....and you can make tons of meals that they will still refuse.
-If they are in a store, library, mall, etc, and walking or running, you will be chasing them calming screaming, "Come back here!"
-The word No because your most used word throughout the day
-When you put them to bed, you almost want to dance because you get time to yourself!
I adore being a mom and my daughter is generally a very good girl, but sometimes a mom has to vent.
