Baby Spoons as a Keepsake, or for Use!

Supplies: Buy a longer baby spoon (I chose the Sassy brand)
-Wire (found in craft stores near the necklace making section)
-Wire cutters
-Beads of your choose, and letter beads

I did this project a few months ago, but I realized that it would be a great milestone keepsake for your baby's first solid foods. Also I realized that toddlers love having a special spoon with their name on it, decorated and fun. I decided to re post this idea which I got from the "Crafty Mama" book and walk you through how to do it since it is super easy.

Step One: Unravel wire and use wire cutters to out bend it and re bend the wire.

Step Two: As you bend it around the spoon, string in the beads and letters (make sure the letters are going down the spoon)

Step Three: Use the wire cutters to bend the wire as you do this project, and when you reach the end make sure you tuck it up under so that it won't be a sharp hazard to your baby.

That it is! You can embellish with different beads, etc. Mine is very simple, and it makes a great baby shower gift too.
