Life is Becoming Easier

When I had my baby, everyone said, "Oh it gets easier, and better", and they were right! Now my baby is 2.5 months old and she is getting better with the tummy issues and being a little less fussy. We kind of have a schedule in the works, which makes me happy! However I know when I go back to work we will have to adjust to a new one, but nothing I can do about that. It was funny because my husband and I were in Target this past week, and I ran back to another isle to get something, and the baby began to cry. At the moment, other babies were crying, but I heard her's through them all....it was so strange! I find also that I am giving up buying myself clothes so I can buy her clothes, which is both good and bad. At least my baby will look cute and in style, but sometimes I think I totally forget about myself (which is not always a bad thing, because now I have a beautiful baby girl). I find that a lot of my friends who do not have kids have a limit on my baby talk, and I feel awful because I was there a short while ago. Its just that when your at home all day with your baby, that is your day and what you have to talk about. You aren't going out, and your not seeing movies out much. Life has changed, which is a good change, but you have to become close with your other mommy friends so you can both talk about your babies and stay sane.
I went out with my neighbor the other evening, and drank a little too much (in my defense I haven't drank really in a year so

  1. Ok - here's how I can help you relate. You know how when you first date someone and you're totally in love - (hate the phrase, but) "honeymoon phase"? You just want to yammer on and on about this person cause you spend all your time with them. Gradually you realize you are doing it and pull yourself out of so-and-so land and talk about them AND other things: movies, books, articles, cooking, tv shows. Whatever floats your boat!

So, I understand that your baby takes up the majority of your life, that you want to post picture upon picture on an hourly basis on facebook -- but remember how annoying your friend is? Your baby doesn't even talk yet -- so the range of things that it does (smile, burp, poo, etc) is limited HAHA

I was thinking of posting random pictures of the office for you - since it consumes a lot of my day. Stapler - in action! The copier, the scanner, faxing, me on the toilet. Wouldn't this be exciting? And don't forget - I'd do it DAILY, HOURLY and then fill you in on it later :)
