I decided to surf the web tonight about Hurricane Irene and I found some funny things I wanted to share. Obviously everyone worries about their houses, flooding, safety and having electricity. When preparing for a hurricane consider the following items for fun and sanity....
1. Alcohol: It is something that can make you relax possibly and can keep your entertained usually.
2. Charge up your Ipod's, portable DVD players and computers.
3. Blow the dust off monopoly, twister and the playing cards.
4. Use the hurricane as an excuse to buy new smelly candles to light up your home.
5. If you have kids, Make a fort out of your couch or setup a tent (inside of course) and make it a game.
6. Stock up on snack foods
7. Get some batteries for flash lights (plus you can play flashlight games on the wall with your kids)
8. Pull out your crazy clothes. What a great time to play dress up and be silly if your stuck in the house (possibly without power)
9. Pull out your battery powered radio so you can dance :)
10. If you don't have kids and you can sleep, Take a nap!
