Formula Change....here we go again

My daughter has been on Nutramagen since she was 2 months old, due to reflux and an inability to handle any other formula. When she was about 4-5 months, we decided to try Soy formula, and she had a violent reaction of throwing up and a fever. We stopped her Prevacid a month ago, and now my pediatrician wanted me to try a new formula (since Nutramagen is sooo expensive). Today I gave her a bottle of Enfamil Gentle Ease, and she refused to drink it. Therefore I mixed half of her old with half new....and she drank most of it. This occurred with the next two bottles, then this evening she refused to drink it and cried. I gave her a bottle with her Nutramagen and she gulped it down. I am not sure where this is going to go, but we will see. I guess I will try again tomorrow, but she is not happy about it needless to say. She likes expensive things already, like her mom :)

  1. I would mix even less... start with 1/4 to 3/4... do that for a few days to a week before doing 1/2 to 1/2 (I had to do that with Morgan changing from breast milk to whole milk-the whole process for us took at least a month!!)
