I love this stage!

This is such a fun stage in the baby growing process. Irelyn can hold her own bottle now and feed herself, which is a big help in the morning. She is trying to talk, which is the most adorable thing to watch and hear. Life has a little more prediction to it because she is on a schedule now for the most part. We have our routine now, and she is just such a good baby all around. It is amazing to watch her discover new toys and watch people and things so intently. It is so much fun, and so rewarding as a mother. I feel like the first two to three months, you are exhausted from lack of sleep and the shock of your new life. Motherhood changes your entire world, for the good, but it also can be hard to adapt to at the same time. The next three months are establishing routine, and schedule and watching your baby bloom. They laugh, smile and open their eyes to the world around them. They can interact with you and respond to you. Now I have hit the stage when she is becoming even more alert, learning new things every moment, and a touch of independence. Now I am tired at the end of the day from trying to keep her entertained and worn out all day!

We decided to try and give her graduate puffs to eat (because they melt in their mouth immediately as appose to Cheerios, since she only has two teeth) It was so hilarious because at first she didn't know how she felt about them. We have to pop them on her tongue because she can't quite get them into her mouth. Especially since they stick to her hand :) Now she loves them and when she sees them she opens her mouth!

This morning I put her in her stationary bouncer (which she has been in since 5 months old or so) and she finally realized how to bounce in it! She also has the doorway bouncer, which she always bounces in, but never really in the stationary bouncer. Like I said, I love this stage....
