Wendy...You have to look at this from a parent's perspective...no sleeves to put their arms in, over the head, and warm. I adore the poncho look!
No, no, no. There is no excuse for putting your kid in a poncho - homemade or not. Leave them in a onesie until they don't fit them anymore.
And have you ever worn a poncho? They are not warm. Air sneaks in all sides. It's a lie.
